So even on Logic I went back on building some EXS24 interments that I used instead (i.e. multi-out routing if you need additional processing via other plugins) is not really worth it for me. When I was primarily using Logic (back on Ableton now), I used Battery a lot in the beginning, but the more I used it, the more I realised that the amount of setup required (e.g. But even then, as Logic is a classical example, I would argue that you still might not need it. If you are on a DAW that does not have something similar to what Battery does, it might be worth it. If you have Ableton, drum racks offer a lot more benefit (better integration, ability to use drum rack internal sends / return tracks, "per pad processing" etc.). As many have already mentioned, it really depends on your use case.
